Why Design?

I remember being 10 years old, my parents took me with them to a close friends house. I walked in the house and for the first time, I noticed something: I felt different. I looked around their home and noticed the paint colors, the hutches and wood detail in their ceilings. I saw all the natural light from the windows flood in and highlight the colors in their living room. For the first time I realized that a room can not only be beautiful, but it can make you feel.

After that moment, I chased that feeling. When I came home I wanted to redecorate my room and I explained to my mother how I needed to feel the way I felt in her friends house, forever. Fast-forward 15 years later and I'm still in awe at the way walking into a room can make you feel.

I'm a firm believer that your space should be a safe-haven. An oasis you can escape to. Whether it's your home or your office, both are places where most of your energy is spent. We live in a fast-pace world and our tank easily slows to empty but we have to be intentional about keeping it full. One of the best ways to do that is having a place to be rejuvenated.

Our number one priority is making sure that you not only see but feel the tranquility in our work. We want to make you happy inside and out!

Quaint Cottage

This 430 sq-ft apartment was nestled in an urban neighborhood of North Park, San Diego. The goal was to bring an airy flow to the space, while using beach inspired textures.

Mature Nursery

It's hard to believe, but our babies aren't babies forever. This room was built for the long haul. With a color palette that is age friendly, and baby girl knick-knacks you can't go wrong in this Girls nursery.

Entry Way

Cookie-Cutter design is never fun, so we decided to take matters into our own hands. We vamped up this entry way to make the most of space, and make a stunning entry to a fabulous home.

Bouncing Baby Boy

Nursery decor is always the best because I get to be a part of something so personal. Creating a space for a human that is just learning what life is. This is what I live for. The crib is the ultimate feature in this room. We restored a solid oak crib and gave it a new look: a bright life of White. Aged with perfection it’s an outstanding centerpiece for this room.
